Annual General Meeting – 16 June 2024

We are pleased to invite you to attend the sixth Annual General Meeting of Kilmaronock Old Kirk Trust which will take place in Kilmaronock Old Kirk on Sunday 16th June. 

 

A Service in the kirk,  led by the Reverend Scott Brown, will be held first at 3.00pm. After the service tea and coffee will be provided. The Annual General Meeting will then follow at 4.00pm.

The Diary of Rev Thomas Leckie 1718-1719

The transcription of the diary of the Rev Thomas Leckie, Minister of the Parish of Kilmaronock 1703-1723 can be read here.

The Diary of James Dunlop 1884-1887

(Aged 14-18).

Young James was the son of the Rev James Dunlop, minister of the United Free Church of Kilmaronock. The family lived at the manse on the main street in Gartocharn. Read his diary here.

Kilmaronock Old Kirk Trust was established in 2017 to buy the building from the Church of Scotland, to restore it and to run it as a social enterprise for community use. The sale completed in February 2021, together with the purchase of the car park and the glebe.
