CHARITY GIFT AID DECLARATION

If you are a UK tax payer, the Trust can now claim Gift Aid from the tax you pay for the current tax year if you tick the box below (For Gift Aid purposes your subscription will be treated as a donation) – this boosts your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you.

In ticking the box you confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

Please notify Kilmaronock Old Kirk Trust if you: 

  • want to cancel this declaration;

  • change your name or home address;   

  • no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

 

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

QUALIFICATION FOR ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP

Ordinary members must be resident within the Community Council area of Kilmaronock or at an address with one of the following post codes (G83 9LX, G63 9QJ, G63 0HA, G63 0HG, G63 0HF, G83 8SB, G83 8RZ, G83 8SD, G63 0EX,G63 0EU, G63 0EY, G63 0HB, G63 0BB, G63 0EZ, G63 0EP, G63 0ET, G63 0HD, G63 0DH, G63 0HE, G63 0ER) which form most of the Community Council area of Croftamie. Ordinary members are eligible to vote at all General Meetings of the Trust. Associate and Junior membership is available to those living outwith the above geographic areas and those members do not have voting rights.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the information on this form is given voluntarily by each person wishing to be a member of Kilmaronock Old Kirk Trust.

It is used to inform members about the progress of the project to repair, renovate and run Kilmaronock Church (now in community ownership) as a sustainable community resource. It is also used in the processing of Gift Aid declarations where applicable. The contact information provided will be held in the Register of Members of Kilmaronock Old Kirk Trust as is required under the terms of the Constitution. Reasonable steps are taken to keep your information secure. A member may at any time request to have this information deleted or amended.
